a day of fun.

a couple of saturdays ago OJ didn't have school so we took advantage and played all day with some friends. it was a great day and we came home exhausted.

we went bowling...woo hoo! i didn't even know that HK had bowling, but they do! graham was in awe as he walked in. he just wanted to carry the balls, then he wanted to kick them. hmmm maybe bowling isn't his sport.

(OJ got in trouble just after this picture was taken for having graham on his shoulders...oops)
graham keeping watch over the bowling balls.
I thought the bowling shoes were in American sizes. i went back 4 times before i found the right fit.

earlier in the day we headed out to stanley market. we wanted to take a ferry to a nearby island, but we missed the only ferry going out that day. instead we bought graham some new summer clothes, had lunch, and walked around. graham was in heaven. i tell you, that kid can make anything exciting. i love seeing the world through his eyes.

here he is hanging on to a huge statue of a cow saying "boooo"  ( Miki-I think he got a little confused from the "Peek a boo" book you gave him for Christmas :) He wouldn't leave this thing alone crawling under it, walking around it,  and hanging off of it.

we ate lunch at pizza express....delicious...they give the kids this whole booklet full of stickers, brilliant I say. graham was definitely entertained.

some more statues he loved. he had to go and sit on each one like that.

he loved standing by the railing and looking at the boats in the water...fascinating :)

it had been a little while since we had gotten out like that. we can't wait until OJ doesn't have school on saturdays so we can go play more often.

That looks like you guys had so much fun. I swear in every one of your posts Graham looks significantly older and bigger! You guys are such a cute family

Graham is so dang cute! The "getting in trouble" part at the bowling alley reminded me of when we were in Japan and the American family in our ward said they got in trouble at the swimming pool for wearing big snorkling-like goggles. You were only allowed to wear small goggles. The Mom told the lifeguard that they had to wear the big ones because they had BIG eyes and the Japanese just had little ones (actions were included showing how big and little the eyes were). I laughed so hard, but she said it worked.

Can I just say you look gorgeous! China is treating you well.
Mitch just took Japanese exchange students bowling last night. I thought you'd get a kick out of that...they're not Chinese, but Asian...and don't speak a lick of English.
