Graham's First Bath

Graham had his two week check up today and is weighing in at a wopping 11 lbs 22 inches. He is doing great. He is healthy and happy. Today we gave him his first bath. He seemed to enjoy the water. It got a little cold at the end, but all in all it was alot of fun. We just love this little guy and are happy to be his parents. We also spoke with the dietitian today and she said that MCAD doesn't really affect body weight. I don't fully understand that, but supposedly their body can rid itself of body weight just like any body. She also said that the Carnatine helps break down the stuff the MCA is supposed to. So that was good to hear. We are interested to know how it all works in greater detail, so if any of you know be sure to let us know.

Graham Owen Carlson

Graham Owen Carlson was born September 8, 2007 at 2:37pm. After 24 hours of Labor and a C-section he weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs 7 oz and 20 inches long. He is such a beautiful baby and we are so glad he made it here safely. We love being parents!

Any day now...

We went to get another followup ultrasound to check to see where my fluid levels were vs. his weight. My fluid levels were the same...therefore there is only one other reason for my rapid belly growth...you got it...baby graham is weighing in at a whopping 10lbs. That is according to the ultrasound so it could be off a pound and a half either way. I guess we will see. My due date is tomorrow....think he'll come? I hope so. If nothing else we were excited to see more 3D pictures of him. The tech didn't have to do it....but seeing as how we are good buddies, she pulled it out. We think he is pretty cute. He's got some big cute kissable lips :) Mostly we are excited to see him in person!
